The House of Kokalera

Two gifts from one high place.

A family estate at 3,840 feet in the hills above Karnangeri, Coorg — old river country, where the sacred Cauvery rises. From one hill, a warm coffee and a cool water. Siblings, not twins.

The Estate

One family, one high place, for generations.

Subramanya Estate sits in the sacred hills of Coorg — Kodagu — above the village of Karnangeri, the river country from which the Cauvery rises. At 3,840 feet the nights run cool, the mist settles into the canopy, and a perennial spring runs clear off the slope. From this single hill the family makes two things, slowly and by hand: a coffee that carries the warmth of the roast, and a water that carries the stillness of the source.

Kokalera — of the leaf. The family name the two brands are born under.
